Climate Reporting Course

This course is designed to help participants understand and report on climate change with depth, empathy, and a community-first approach. It combines basic climate science with practical journalism skills to make complex issues easier for the public to grasp. The course gives special attention to climate justice and gendered impacts — exploring how climate change often hits marginalized communities, women, and other vulnerable groups the hardest. Participants will learn how to tell these stories with accuracy, respect, and insight, ensuring local voices are at the heart of climate reporting.

• Expert Insights/विशेषज्ञों से सीख: Interaction with grassroots leaders, and journalists working at the intersection of climate and social justice/ जमीनी नेताओं और पत्रकारों से बातचीत, जो जलवायु और सामाजिक न्याय पर काम कर रहे हैं।
• Publication Readiness/प्रकाशन-तैयारी: Guidance to produce publishable stories that combine accuracy, empathy, and local voices/ सटीक, संवेदनशील और स्थानीय आवाज़ों को शामिल करते हुए कहानियाँ लिखने का मार्गदर्शन।
